The Project

The Normétal South Property, located in region well known for gold occurrences and historical production.

REGIONAL INFORMATION

Located in region well known for gold occurrences and historical production.

Normétal mine produced approximately 10.1 million tonnes grading 2.24% Cu 5.41% Zn, 0.526 g/t Au and 44.45 g/t Ag were extracted periodically between 1937 and 1975 with development down to a depth of approximately 2.4 km

Option to acquire 100% interest in Normétal South Property (Quebec)

6,116 hectares across 110 contiguous mineral claims

Potential for year-round work programs and excellent infrastructure that includes hydroelectric power and paved Provincial highways to access the property

Located in Normétal Polymetallic Mining Camp currently controlled by AMEX Exploration, Starr Peak Exploration, and Generic Gold Corp

Access to equipment and skilled technical & labour personnel from nearby mining municipalities

Significant historical metal production from the region (72.88MM oz Gold and 6.54B lbs copper)

PROXIMAL PROJECTS

Amex Exploration (Perron Property)

  • Currently conducting major drill program
  • Have made a number of gold and base metal discoveries on the property

Star Peak (NewMetal Project)

  • Property is proximal to the past producing Normetal mine (1937-1975)
  • Active exploration program underway

Generic Gold (Belvas Project)

  • Fully funded exploration program
  • Exploration program includes 7,500 m of drilling

MINERALIZATION

The Normétal South Project area is crossed by the regional NW-SE trending Chicobi Deformation Zone or “Break” which hosts the Perron, Normétal and other faults (Figure 7). The Normétal Fault is along a stratigraphic horizon known as host of massive sulphide deposits such as the nearby now closed polymetallic (Copper-Zinc-Gold-Silver) Normétal mine and the Zinc Normetmar deposit and also related to a few epigenetic gold-bearing veins showing. The Perron fault is located about 500 to 1,000m south from Normétal Fault and is related to several epigenetic gold-bearing veins showing and the central polymetallic zone.

PROPERTY OCCURRENCES

The Gosselin Occurrence – Five selective grab samples taken in 1999 yielded 1.21% Zn and 1.7 g/t Ag;
1.19% Zn; 0.84% Zn; 0.79% Zn and 2.0 g/t Ag; and 0.78% Zn.

Desmeloizes Occurrence – The mineralization consists of a series of folded semi-massive (50-60% sulphides) to disseminated (5-10% sulphides) pyrite-magnetite-pyrrhotite bands in mixed greenish-grey biotite-muscovite bearing greywakes, graphitic argillites and dark green “sandstones”, all variably schistose. A small bulk sample yielded 1.78% Zn, 0.70% Pb and 0.05% Cu. Further stripping, trenching and sampling in 2000-2001 yielded 1.39% Zn et 2 g/t Ag; 10.50% Zn, 0.27% Cu and 22.6 g/t Ag; and 5.19% Zn, 4.08% Pb, 0.46% Cu and 56.4 g/t Ag. The mineralization is proximal to the Macamic (now termed the Chicobi) Deformation Zone, which generally host centimetric quartz veins oriented NW-SE and E-W in brecciated wackes.

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY

Between August 12 and October 28, 2021, Geotech Ltd. Carried out a helicopter-borne geophysical survey.
