Tulameen Arrastra and Granite Creek Project

Tulameen Ultra-Mafic Complex (TUC), Similkameen Mining District.

The Tulameen Arrastra and Tulameen Granite Creek properties are located within the Tulameen Ultra-Mafic Complex in south-central British Columbia. The properties comprise 14 unpatented mineral claims in five non-contiguous blocks covering a combined area of 4,832 hectares.

Project Overview

The Tulameen area has a history of placer platinum production and early placer gold discoveries dating to the 1860s.

Historical and modern work across the complex has identified multiple potential bedrock sources for platinum, palladium, copper, and iron mineralization within a range of geological units.

The Tulameen area was historically known for being one of the largest placer platinum producers in North America. Coincidentally, one of the earliest gold rushes occurred along the Tulameen River, dating back to first gold placer discovery in the 1860s. Major and junior mining companies confirmed multiple potential bedrock sources for platinum, palladium, copper and iron deposits hosted within a wide variety of units within the complex.

Data compilation and target generation

A comprehensive, systematic compilation of previous geological, geophysical, and geochemical survey data has been completed, including the reprocessing of proprietary datasets. This work has refined the geological interpretation of the complex and generated new exploration targets with expansion potential.
